Obituary For Whiskey "Snoot" Brownfield
Finding the right words to honor our beloved pet and cherished family member has been challenging. Whiskey, our 10-year-old Lab-Pit mix adopted from the Macon County Humane Society, was much more than just an old dog—he lived a truly remarkable life. Diagnosed with lymphoma in June, we said our final goodbye to him on August 7th, 2024.
Whiskey was not merely a dog; he was my best friend. He was the epitome of a perfect companion—smart, skilled, and full of personality. He knew every trick in the book, had routines as precise as a human, and greeted us at the door with one of his beloved stuffed toys and a joyful smile.
Whiskey had many nicknames, with “Snoot” being a family favorite. He’d use his big nose to nudge us for extra attention or a French fry, and his playful antics always brought smiles.
His passions were simple: car rides, his human Chloe, long naps with cozy blankets, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and, of course, his vast collection of toys.
As I reflect on the countless fond memories, I know Whiskey will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I want to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff at Central Cremation Center for their exceptional care of both Whiskey and us during this time.
Thank you for reading,
Sincerely, Whiskey Brownfield’s Family
Condolences
