Doris Jeanette Beasley

Doris Beasley, 91, of Mt. Zion, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, December 3rd, at her home. Central Cremation Center in Forsyth assisted the family with arrangements.

She is survived by her twin sister Dora Jeanine Murray, daughters Jackie Sue Smith (Kirk), Virginia Gail Fair (Jerry) and son James E. Beasley Jr. (Leah). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harold & Ethel Brown, brother James A. Brown, sister Marie M. Brown as well as her husband James E. Beasley Sr. She married James Sr. in 1952.

She worked for Municipal Electronics, General Electric and High Flyer Kite Company.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Beasley Family Memorial Fund.
