Stuart K. Williams

December 11, 1993 – July 5, 2025

Stuart Kenneth Williams, 31, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away on July 5, 2025, after a courageous and difficult battle with addiction. Born on December 11, 1993, in Decatur, Stuart brought light and laughter to those around him with his big heart and unforgettable spirit.

Stuart was passionate about many things in life—basketball, music, family, and friends—but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his beloved nieces. He was a devoted uncle, a loyal friend, and a loving son and brother whose presence left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Williams (Dave Baylis) of Sullivan, IL; his father, Gary Williams (Stephanie Williams) of Niantic, IL; his sister, Cynthia “Nikki” Marshall (Sean Marshall); and his cherished nieces, Keylee and Khali Marshall, all of Sullivan, IL. Stuart also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bunkers Bar, 715 Old Rte 36, Illiopolis, IL 62539. All who knew and loved Stuart are welcome to attend, share memories, and honor his life.

Though his journey was marked by struggle, Stuart’s memory will live on in the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the lives he touched.
