Corrine Kay (Cobstill) Sharp (1970-2025) Corrine Kay Sharp, 55, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away August 22, 2025, at Carle Hospital in Urbana. She was born May 18, 1970, in Decatur, Illinois to the late Jeffrey Jess Cobstill and survived Marcella Kay (Mason) Cobstill. She is survived by her brother Ian-Lee (Quenna) Cobstill of Sullivan and her sister Malissa (Terry) Munsterman of Decatur. Corrine married Darren Sharp, the love of her life, on May 24, 1996. They had a wonderful marriage full of laughter and love that had no end. They had many adventures together over the years. She was a loving aunt to Timothy Cobstill of Decatur, Amanda Cobstill of Argenta, Emily and Hanna Munsterman of Decatur. She was a proud great aunt to Gabrielle, Layla and Max. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. Corrine graduated from Argenta-Oreana High School in 1989. She went on to Robert Morris College earning her degree. She then worked for several businesses, spending many years with Decatur Public Schools and most recently Central Illinois Title where she always had her office decorated with holiday décor and family photos. She kept busy making crafts like Christmas gifts for family and those she worked with, she loved making jewelry, a passion she learned from dad, she had an outfit and accessories for every holiday, she loved taking photographs to capture the moment and her love of giraffes was one like no other. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 12, from 4 to 7 at the Long Creek Community Center, located at 2610 Salem School Rd, Decatur, Illinois. Casual attire is requested. Please, no flowers or memorials. Corrine would just want her family and friends to get together for a “Party”. Until we meet again | |
