Joseph Ray Durham

Joseph Ray Durham, 39, passed away Monday, September 1st, 2025, at his home. Joseph was born December 24th, 1985 in Nashville TN, to John and Teresa Durham.

He was preceded in death by his father John Durham, Aunt Helen Lenz, both sets of Grandparents, and his cousin Raymond Green.

Joe is survived by his mother, Teresa Durham, children Samantha Durham, John Durham of Altamont, Desirae Seeley, Rylan Shuler, and Noelle Shuler, of Sevierville TN, Brothers Johnathan Durham (wife Jamie) of Farina, Curtis Durham (wife Misty) of Salem, Sisters Casey Osteen of Nashville TN, and Kayla Lyberger (husband Shane) of Sandoval.

Joe was an avid gamer, he enjoyed interacting with others through online games, and role playing games. He enjoyed learning about and researching the paranormal, especially aliens. Joe was very intelligent, he could debate any subject you could come up with. He was very interested in the developing AI world. He loved to read, especially anything by Stephen King.

Joe loved his friends and family deeply, and while he struggled with maintaining relationships, his love for them never failed, and was never lacking.

Per his wishes, Joseph will be cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday September 14th at 3 p.m., at the Farina IL park building. Donations can be made to the family, please contact Kayla Lyberger or Teresa Durham, and will go to cover his cremation expenses and anything extra will go to his children.

He will be deeply missed.
