James Robert Rudolph Sr. of Dawson Il passed away November.21.2025. He was born March.26.1992 at St John’s Hospital in Springfield Il. He left behind a legacy of hard work, passion, and selfless love. He was a dedicated roofer for over ten years and was known as a loving father, fiance, son, brother, uncle, and a friend to many people. James loved football and was a die hard Raiders fan. He collected football and pokemon cards. He enjoyed going to concerts and seeing his favorite artist Jelly Roll multiple times. He was a passionate advocate for Autism awareness due to his two sons being on the spectrum and muscular dystrophy due to the family’s experiences. In a final selfless act, he was an organ donor and saved multiple lives. James was preceded in death by his father Robert Daniel Rudolph Sr., His Grandparents Ronald Rudolph, William “Bill” Bauman, and Patricia Bauman. He is survived by his fiance Andrea Sporrer and their two sons James Robert Rudolph Jr. and Ryder Daniel Rudolph all of Dawson Il. Also survived by his Mother Ruthie Bauman of Springfield, His oldest brother Christopher Rudolph of Springfield and his children Chloe Rudolph, (Lucas Bruke) Christopher Jr., and James’s great nephew Brock Bruke. His younger brother Robert Rudolph Jr. (Harlie Rice) of Kincaid Il and their children Kace, Tessa, and Julius.
His grandmother Donna Rudolph of Springfield. His aunt Deborah Boggs (Jamie Boggs) of Modesto il and their children Ocean, Luna, and Noah Boggs, His in-laws Mike Sporrer and ToniLynn Ushman of Springfield Il. Toni was a second mom to him and took him in at a young age. He also helped out his sister in-law Emily Sporrer and helped her and Toni raise Emilys’s oldest son Isaiah Ushman. His other nieces and nephews are Damian, Ian, Dekota, Avery, and Iris. Also had a god son named Alexander. And His brother-in-laws Jon and Mickey Ushman of springfield. He had tons of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Services will be held at House Of Prayer/BYO Church December.19.2025 3253 S. 4th St, Springfield IL 62703. Close family can arrive at 5pm, everyone else can join at 5:30.
