Judith Doyle

January 14, 2026

Judy Doyle (Nale) passed away peacefully on January 14th at 3:15 p.m., with her beloved daughter, Jerrica, by her side as the song “You Are My Sunshine” played—a fitting farewell for a woman who brought so much light into the lives of others.

A native of Mt. Zion, Judy later raised her family in Boody, Illinois, where she became affectionately known as “Judy from Boody.” She was well known and deeply loved for her warm heart, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor. Judy had a natural gift for making people smile, brightening even the hardest days with her infectious laughter.

Judy was a devoted daycare worker who spent her career caring for children with a gentle spirit and an amazing heart, leaving a lasting impression on every child and family she served. Caregiving was not just her job—it was her calling.

Those who knew Judy well will smile remembering her well-known love for a crisp Diet Coke, a small but endearing part of her daily life, often in hand.

Above all, Judy was a loving mother, a cherished friend, and a proud grandmother. Her family and friends were the center of her world, and she gave them her whole heart.

She found strength and comfort in the bonds she shared with those closest to her and offered endless love, guidance, and support. She never knew a stranger and led with warmth and selflessness in everything she did. Judy had the rare ability to make everyone feel seen and loved, and her compassionate nature brought comfort wherever she went.

Her legacy lives on through the many lives she nurtured, the family she adored, and the love she so freely gave.

Judy will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Until then, family and friends are invited to raise a cold Diet Coke in Judy’s honor.
