Jacquelyn (Jackie) Diane Habing

Jacquelyn (Jackie) Diane Habing, 60, of Effingham, Illinois, passed away at 6:26 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. Jackie was born on June 2, 1965, in Decatur, Il.  The daughter of Elda Darlaeen McIntyre and Robert Dean McIntyre. She married Jeffery Habing on April 5, 2003.

Jackie worked at Quad Graphics in Effingham, Il.  She later then started working at the Holiday Inn Express. She enjoyed weeding in her flower beds, spending time outside with the dogs, and collecting salt and pepper shakers.

She is survived by her husband Jeffery Habing of Effingham, IL; two daughters Stacey and Jennifer Clifton; stepdaughter Tiffany (Luke) French; five grandchildren, McKenzie Darkow, Brody Darkow, Alex Miller, Dustin Miller, and Abigail Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elda Darlaeen McIntyre and Robert Dean McIntyre.

A celebration of life will be held in Effingham, Il on May 30,2026. Time and place will be posted at a later date.
