Allan Ackles

Allan Ackles passed away on February 7, 2026 at the age of 68 in his residence.

Allan was born December 30, 1957 in Pittsfield, Il, the son of Paul (Barney) and Edna Ackles. Allan worked at Nelson’s Pest control where he retired from.

He was a devoted family man whose love for those closest to him defined his life. He cherished time with his family, especially his brother Jack, with whom he shared a special bond with,and his beloved daughter Whitney and son-in-law Brad, who meant so much to him. His best friend, Charlie, was his dog whom he loved dearly, and he took great joy in watching his beloved cowboy westerns. Friday nights were often reserved for SmackDown, a tradition he truly enjoyed. Above all, his greatest pride and happiness came from his grandson Bryson, who held a very special place in his heart.

He is survived by his daughter, Whitney Crosby (Brad); his beloved grandson, Bryson Dion; his daughters, Amanda Kummer, Heidi Brown, and Alicha Turner; his brother, Jack Ackles, and sister-in-law, Patti Ackles; along with many other cherished grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his sister and brother-in-law; and the love of his life, Cheryl Burns.

There will be a celebration of life to remember Allan at a later time.
