Cory Joe Ballinger

On Sunday August 21st at 5:31 am, Cory Joe Ballinger, our beloved father, son and brother passed away. He was 49. He was born to Bill Ballinger of Mattoon and Rita Ballinger of Decatur. Cory always had a love for race cars, motorcycles and anything that went fast. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his brother. He is survived by this 3 children, Omer Ballinger of Holt’s Summit, Mo, Cambry and Caden Ballinger, both parents, 1 brother Billy J Ballinger and 1 sister Amie (Michelle) Ballinger all of Decatur. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, 3 cousins, 2 aunts and 1 uncle. Celebration of life will be held for Cory on September 11th at Spitler Woods park in Mt.Zion, Illinois1pm.
