Kimberly J. Werren (Kimmy Bledsaw), 57, walked through Heaven’s gates September 2, 2026 at Memorial Hospital, in Decatur, IL.

Kimmy was born December 21, 1968 in Decatur, Illinois. She was the daughter of Linda (Ferry) and Sammy Bledsaw. She married Travis Werren on April 16th, 1997, and they welcomed a baby girl into the world on February 25, 1995.

Kimmy was a graduate of MacArthur high school in Decatur, Illinois. A graduate of Sparks Business College in Shelbyville, Illinois. She worked as a receptionist for 16 years at the Decatur Civic Center, and was recently working for the State of Illinois at DORS.

Anyone who knew Kimmy would remember her outgoing personality, her sense of humor, and her willingness to help others. Kimmy was a loving and supportive wife to her hard working husband. She was an involved mother and enjoyed watching her daughter play softball. She cherished her three grandchildren, which she spoiled greatly. She was so incredibly proud of her brother for all he has accomplished, and the life he is creating for himself. One of Kimmy’s favorite things was gathering everyone together for cookouts, and card games, where there was always an abundance of love and laughter.

Surviving are her husband, Travis; daughter Gabby (Cody Porter); mother Linda Werren; step dad Tom Werren; brother Logan Bledsaw; step mother Amy Bledsaw; grandchildren Klara, Odin, and Emberlee Porter; uncles Johnny Bledsaw, Butch Ferry, George Bond, Chris Rush; aunts Connie Bledsaw, Marle Bond, Karen Rush; and many cousins who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father Sammy Bledsaw; paternal and maternal grandparents; Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family is asking for a private family service, which will be held at 12 pm on September 19, 2026, at Revival Culture Church Decatur, IL.
