Linda Baylor

Linda Jean Baylor (Guin), age 71, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April, 25, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Linda was born on April 14, 1952, in Decatur, Illinois. She was a graduate of MacArthur Douglas High School class of 1971. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Weldon, Illinois. Linda worked several retail jobs including being an assistant manager at Dollar General and an assistant manager at Dollar Tree. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was always there when needed. Linda enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and caring for her dogs, Oreo and Scotty.
LInda is preceded in death by her parents Delbert Harvey Guin and Rosemary Winholtz Guin, several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Oscar Grant Baylor; daughter Leslie (Chad) Woolsey; son Lee (Heather) Purdeu; step-son Stephen (Sarah) Baylor; grandchildren Anna Woolsey (Christion Norfork), Aaron Woolsey, Cole Purdeu, Landon Purdeu, Evan Purdeu, Cameron Baylor, Jayden Doty, and Stephen Baylor Jr., and several cousins.
