Timothy Vernia

Timothy L Vernia, 63 of Pontiac, IL passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at his residence surrounded by friends and family. Tim was born May 14, 1960 in Fairbury, IL son of Donald and Shelby Jean (Pierce) Vernia. Services in his honor will be announced at a later date.

Tim attended Fairbury High School, and was a fork lift driver for Exact Packaging in Pontiac, IL for 30+ years. In his spare time he enjoyed dirt track racing, watching football, but most of all he cherished time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by two sons, Tim (Bri) Vernia of Pontiac, IL, and Ryan (Ashton) Vernia of Anderson, SC; one daughter, Juanita (Kyle) Harder of Pontiac, IL; Sister, Tina Tipsord of Champaign, IL brother, Donald Vernia Jr. of Champaign, IL, Sister in law, Leanne Vernia, ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.,

He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Vernia, and sister Debbie Harvey.
