Linda Boyd

Linda Boyd passed away on February 2nd, 2024 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center.

There will be a graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 11:00 a.m, Saturday, February 17, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.

She was born on May 22nd, 1941 in Bloomington,IL. Linda married Donald Boyd on July 8th, 1968.

Surviving are her children- Terry(Angela) Boyd and Dawn Boyd-Denison; 6 Grandchildren- Justin and Allyson Boyd, Jacob, Lauren, Brendan Schaefer & Jayson Denison; 4 Great-Grandchildren- Mila, Izabella, Alexander and Liam.

She had three special friends that meant the world to her- Phyllis Jackson, Yvonne Creswell, and Bonnie Boggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents- Gilbert and Frances Barner, her husband- Donald, brother- Gilbert “Bud” Barner, sister- Bonnie Williams, daughter- Lori Boyd, and several beloved pets.

She was a nanny for Paul Lawrence & Helen Ogar for many years; she loved their children
Rachel, Gwen, Tom, Mary, and Molly very much.

Linda had a love for all animals, a big heart, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Central Cremation Center in Forsyth, Illinois is handling arrangements.
