Robert Hurst

Robert Lee Hurst went to be with the Lord after a long courageous battle with Cancer. Robert was born to Glenn D. and Rose M. Hurst who have preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are his two sisters; Rosalee Pierson and Cinda Lee Beverly, as well as nephew, David Pierson.

Robert previously was an insurance salesman for John Hancock Insurance as well as a draftsman for the State of Illinois Department of Transportation.

Robert is survived by Daughters: Joy Sabir, Amy Fitzgerald (Mike Fitzgerald – Husband), and Sarah Hurst-Cornelius.

Also surviving are nieces: Marilyn Baughman, Laurie (Ralph) Lowery, April Bridges – and nephews: Christopher Pierson and Thomas Beverly – also several great-nieces and nephews.

Per Roberts wishes there will be no services, however there will be a Celebration Of Life at a later date.

Robert will be remembered for many wonderful things including the following: his close and personal relationship with the Lord, his vast knowledge of many things, such a wonderful conversationalist, as well as a having such a great sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed by family.
