Joseph (Joe) McCullough, 88 years young, went to be with our Lord on Monday 8/5/2024.Joe was born 10/31/1935 in Greenup, IL to Virgil and Maudaline McCullough. He had 3 Brothers and one Sister that all proceeded him in death.
Joe served in the Korean War, in the US Navy from 1952-1955. And boy did he have allot of stories to tell about those 3 years.
Of course, if you knew Joe, you knew that he always had stories to tell and no one was ever a stranger. He liked everyone.
Joe married his soulmate, Frances Tipsword 11/12/55 and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage before Fran’s passing 3/25/23Joe & Fran had 3 Daughters, Sherry, Kathy & Janice. 9 Grandkids, 14 Great Grandkids and 5 Great Great Grandkids.
Joe was a family man. He loved to be with his family and just socialize. That includes his church family and Pastor Steve, whom he loved very much.
His Memorial Service will be held at the Latham United Methodist Church on Friday 8/23 at 10:30 am. There will be a luncheon to follow.
His graveside service will be in Harmony Cemetery in Greenup IL on Saturday 8/24 @
11:00 am.
Central Cremation Center in Forsyth, Illinois has been entrusted with arrangements.
