Arlene Grabowski

Arlene Grabowski, 84, of Zion, IL passed away on August 9th, 2024, at Paris Health and Rehab Center in Paris, Illinois.

Arlene was born November 25, 1939, and was a lifetime resident of Zion. Arlene graduated from Zion Benton High School in 1957. She attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. She loved painting and was an avid gardener. She loved her cats, and any stray could find food and shelter at her home.

Survivors include son Jeffrey Love (Debbie) of Trevor, WI; daughter Angela Cardinal of Decatur, IL; son John Love (Debbie) of Zion, IL; daughter April Zorc (Anthony) of Zion, IL and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John G Grabowski, father William F Pietschman and mother Dorothy (nee Ruesch) Macek, brother William W Pietschman, son in law Michael E Cardinal, nephew Michael Pietschman.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Paris Health and Rehab Center for the wonderful care she received.

A private family service will be held September 14, 2024 at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Zion, IL.

Central Cremation Center in Forsyth, Illinois has been entrusted with arrangements.
