Douglas Michael Glosser born April 17, 1950, at St Mary’s hospital in Decatur Ill, received his wings, which he earned years ago. He was an At age 19 Doug enlisted in the Navy and served as an Interior Communications Electrician from 1969 to 1971. After leaving the service Doug’s passions included driving his Corvette, the many Harley Davidson motorcycles he owned, including his most recent Honda three-wheeler. He took many road trips to all corners of this great nation, and riding with the Boys from IL of a couple of decades. Doug is a life member of the Eagles Club, American Legion, Vets of Foreign War, Disabled Vets of America, and the NRA. Proceeded by: (Mother) Shirley Yvonne Field (Father) Richard LeRoy Glosser, (Brother) Jeffery Glosser. Survived by spouse Goldie Glosser, stepsons David Walls of Girard and Quinton Walls of Springfield, grandchildren Quinton and Arryana Walls of Chicago. Sister Margret Ethington (Prentice), brother Phillip Glosser (Pam), brother James Glosser (Vikki), several nieces and nephews. |
