Paula Kramer

Paula Jo (Anderson) Kramer, 68, passed away on July 31, 2025, at St. John’s Hospital with her family by her side.

Paula was born October 15, 1956, and was the daughter of Neal and Patricia Anderson. She married Henry (Jim) Kramer on June 28, 1974, in Decatur, IL.

Paula retired from the City of Decatur after a long successful career.

She is survived by her husband Henry (Jim) Kramer, daughter Heather, son Tony and wife (Tina), grandchildren Colton (Brooke), Skyler (Andrew), great grandchildren Creek, Archer, Wrenlee and Walker, sisters Marcia Vest (Don) and Julie Anderson (Steve) and sister-in-law Diana Anderson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Eddie and great grandchild River.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00am-11:00am with funeral services to follow at Life Builders Church of God, 833 West Pershing Road, Decatur, IL. Casual attire is requested.

Special thanks to her home nurse Jamie Allison and Dr. Icaza Jr., and his entire staff at the Springfield Clinic Bariatric Center.

Paula will be remembered for her unconditional love for everyone she met.
