A Celebration of Life will be held for Sally Fancher-Gouchenouer on Saturday, November 12th at 1pm at the Mason Christian Church, Mason, IL.

Sally K. Fancher-Gouchenouer, 46, of Mason, IL, passed away.

Sally had the nicknames of “Salamander” and “Aunt Salty” that were given to her by her family and neighborhood kids. Sally was an easy-going person with a kind and loving heart. Her house was always known as the hangout spot where anybody was welcome.

Sally was the daughter of Paul and Carol (Kuhlman) Fancher and was one of 7 children, John Fancher; William “Bill” (Deb) Fancher; Susan (Gail) Bissell; James (Donna) Fancher; Douglas Fancher; and Luther (Courtney) Fancher. She graduated from Effingham High School. Sally had 2 beautiful daughters, Shyanne Gouchenouer and Maggie Gouchenouer, who she loved dearly.

Sally loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for listening to music, especially with others. Sally had a boisterous, fun loving personality. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion of caring for others. Sally was a caretaker working in home-health care throughout her life.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Carol; and a brother, Douglas. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shyanne and Maggie, and siblings; John, Bill, Susan, James, and Luther.
