Ronald German

Ronald (Ron) K. German passed away peacefully in Decatur, Illinois on September 12, 2023 at 10:09 AM. He was born in Decatur on July 13, 1955 to Herschel and Shirley German. He graduated with a bachelors degree from Greenville College. He married Debbie Virden on August 20, 1982 and they had two children Noah and Hannah and two daughters from Debbie’s previous marriage Jennifer and Carrie. They had just just celebrated their 41st anniversary. He worked at Decatur Memorial Hospital for over 40 years as a Radiologic Technician. He was an avid Cubs fan and loved nothing more than spending time with his 7 Grandkids with ages ranging from 2-22. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Debbie, Brothers Roger, Randy (Julie), Richard and Sister Rebecca (Kenny), children Noah, Hannah (Justin), Jennifer (Cris), Carrie (Erik), and Grandchildren Amaya 22, Fiona 19, Cristian 16, Elliott 14, Lily 14, Kai 13, and Jaxon 2. He was a member of Moundford Free Methodist Church since the age of 5.
