Melissa Scattergood

Melissa L. Scattergood, 40, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 24, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda. Surviving are her husband Joseph Scattergood, son Caiden Scattergood, along with mother-in-law, several siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was a beacon of kindness and joy. Missi was a cherished soul, known for her unwavering kindness and infectious happiness. As a loyal friend, she touched the lives of many with her genuine warmth and unwavering support. Her love for her family was boundless, and she fiercely protected and cherished them with all her heart.

Though she may have left this world, her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through the countless lives she has touched.

Central Cremation Center in Forsyth, Illinois has been entrusted with her arrangements.
