Patrick D. Cline went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Diane surrounded by his family on February 26th, 2026 at 4:15pm at Rose Garden in Pana, IL. Patrick was born on August 30th, 1947 to the son of George and Bernice Cline. He was a 1966 High School Graduate of Flora, IL and his biggest accomplishment was going to state in track where he ran a 4:47 mile. He then went on to college and graduated from United Electronics in Louisville, Kentucky. He married Mary Sanders in late 1968 and then later divorced. He then married the love of his life Diane Marie Armistead on April 1st, 1978. They had lived in Albion, Michigan and then later moved to Pana, Illinois in1985.

During his life, he had worked as a tv repair man with his last job being Cline TV Repair shop in Pana, IL. Though working as a tv repair man, his most rewarding job was being a father to 8 kids and papa to 20 grandkids. He was always proud of all his kids and grandkids. He was also a long time member of the Pana Christian Church.

Patrick is preceded in death by his beloved wife Diana Marie Cline in 2007 and his parents George and Bernice Cline and his brother Eddie.

He is survived by his loving kids Sherry Cline and her children Kia, Austin(Kori), Kadyn and Kehlani. JW Cline and his daughter Maria(Matt)Watson. Ricky Armistead and his sons Dylan and Derek. Michele Armistead. Jennifer(Tim)Christer their children Kaitlyn McClure(Dustin), Braden(Emaline), and Bo. Patrick(Casey)Cline Jr their children Abbey, Lydia, Karsten, and Naomi. Christina(Matt)Rosinski their children Izabella and Ryker. Last but not least his baby girl Tressie Cline(Jon Huhghes) their kids Logan Taylor, Breckin, Ayden and Kaylynn. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren Arza, Rhys, Grace, Nori, Alaina, Graham, and Westley.

Services will be at Pana Christian Church Friday March 6, 2026, with Pastor Dave Altman officiating. Visitation 5:00pm, celebration of life 6:00pm.
