Alan Dee Beavers, 70, passed away on March 30, 2025, at Imboden Creek in Decatur, Illinois.

Alan was born November 12, 1954, to Samuel Beavers and Juanita (Bell) Beavers at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School in 1973.

Following his high school graduation, Alan went into the military and served in the US Marines. After serving in the Marines, he went into construction.

Alan loved muscle cars and was a big-time animal lover.

Surviving Alan are his nephews Bobby Stewart, Matt Stewart and John Beavers—all of Decatur, nieces Pam Stewart of Decatur and Traci Groves of Seabrook, Texas, and aunt Vonnie Beavers of Seabrook, Texas.
