Alan Dwane Salmons suddenly left this world on Saturday , April 5,2025. He was born on June 5,1981, in Decatur, Illinois. He was an amazing man who had many talents. He loved to race and anything to do with racing! He loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to build go-karts, minibikes, and bicycles.

He leaves behind his daughter, Britany Salmons of Decatur, his mother, Tina Salmons of Pana, IL. and his sisters, Jamie Salmons Tucker and her husband, (Tom) of Cowden, IL. Gina Salmons Miller and her husband (Jason) of Whitwell, TN. and his brother, Joe Salmons of Scottsdale, AZ. He had four grandchildren: Zoey May, Legend Amir, Livianna JoAnne, and Khylin Michael Lee, and his little buddy and sidekick, Korban! He loved his dogs!

Grief is the cost of love, and Alan’s absence leaves a void that words cannot fill.

A celebration of life will be held by the family on Friday April 11, 2025, at Salem Baptist Church in Decatur,IL.
