Amie Diane Morrison, 42 of Decatur left this life on earth on Friday January 17th, 2025.

Amie was born on July 27th, 1982, to parents Beverly and Hanley Morrison of Decatur Illinois. She attended Stephen Decatur High School and spent many years working in food service, housekeeping and retail.

Her greatest gifts in her life were her 4 beautiful children and her 7 grandchildren.

She fought a good fight for many years through some personal struggles and gave us all some pretty special and fun memories to cherish.

Amie will always be remembered by her bubbly personality, rambunctious attitude, her love for music and dancing, her infectious laughter and those bright eyes that could light up a room.

Amie, you are now at peace and free!

Amie leaves behind the father of her children Jerry Ledwig, her daughter Kyyleigh Morrison and Ethan and their 3 children, Maddi, Remi, and Neveah. Son Chase Ledwig and his fiancé Mykala and their son Jayce Ledwig, son Chance Ledwig and his girlfriend Cassidy and his children Anthony and Amorine Ledwig, son Miles Ledwig and his fiancé Destiny and their son Kayson.

She also leaves behind 5 sisters Tammie and her husband Bill Sweet, Jenni and her husband Rex Myres, Tresa Blankenship, Joanne Arthur and Shakira Jordan. Aunt Diane Grubbs, and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, 2 uncles, 2 brothers in law, and a niece.

The family plans to hold a celebration of life at a future date.
