Barbara Jo (Hanuska) Wolak passed away, at her home in Normal, IL, after a long battle with cancer. A fighter until the end, she passed away on September, 26, 2023, at the age of 69.
She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Juanita Hanuska, and brother William Hanuska. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth Wolak; son Donald Wolak, daughter Mindy (Michael) Prescott, son Timothy Wolak; brothers Robert (Mary Ann) Hanuska, and Steve (Karen) Hanuska; sister-in-law Kelly Hanuska, grandchildren Olivia, Grayson, and Julia; nieces Tanya, Ciara (Levi), and Emily; nephews Steven and Michael.

Barb loved her family, the outdoors, travel, animals, and helping others. She spent most of her time volunteering, helping with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and many others she met along the way.

There will be no public services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
