With hearts heavy with loss yet comforted by faith, we announce the passing of Beverly Gean Michelle Brewer (née Martinez), who was called to her eternal rest on the 5th of May, 2024. Born as the leaves were gently falling on November 23, 1970, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Beverly embodied the virtues of humility, gratitude, and a profound respect for the sanctity of life.

Beverly’s loving memory will be forever honored by her dear children: David Rieger Jr. and his wife Emily, Naya Jackson and her husband Derek, Laura Wamble and her husband Rusty, Sara Prior and her husband Connor, Savannah Brewer, and Calvin Brewer. Her gentle guidance and unconditional love will live on through her grandchildren-Carter, Kinleigh, Connor, Lila, Silas, Camden, Luca, Adeline, Ophelia, and Isla.

We invite family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Beverly’s kind spirit to join us in a traditional service to celebrate her life on May 12, 2024, from 12-4 PM at VFW Lafore Lock Post 755 on Old Jacksonville Road in Springfield, Illinois. This gathering will be a time of reflection on the values Beverly held dear, the lessons she imparted, and the loving memories she created.

In the spirit of Beverly’s life, the family suggests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Beverly Memorial Fund at the following address:

Beverly’s Memorial Fund

These contributions will honor Beverly’s memory by helping to cover funeral expenses and supporting the family she so dearly loved.

As we bid farewell to Beverly, we find comfort in the knowledge that her life was a testament to the enduring strength of love, family, and faith. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to guide us all. We carry her memory in our hearts, knowing that she has found peace in the arms of our Creator. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
