Bonnie Chapman

Bonnie Chapman, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28.

Bonnie is survived by her longtime significant other, Lupe Ramirez; her daughter, Melinda (Mike)
Fox; her sisters, Joy (Tom) Elshoff and Laurel Miles; her grandchildren, Ryan (Sharise) Hartsock
and Railynn (Scott) Hosl; and her great-grandchildren, Liam Hartsock, Saige Hartsock, and Talula
Hartsock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dorothy Chapman; her daughter, Mary (Chris)
Riedl; her sister, Betty Solomon; her brothers, Jerry and Carl Chapman; and her grandson, Andy
(Kendra) Hartsock.

Bonnie worked for many years at Louis Rich Foods before taking early retirement. She loved
jewelry and shopping and rarely met a bracelet, ring, or purse that she didn’t want to bring home
with her. She enjoyed playing bingo with Lupe at The Elms and looked forward to getting her nails
done every Tuesday.

One of Bonnie’s greatest joys was her family. She especially loved seeing pictures of her
great-grandchildren and keeping up with what the little ones were doing.

Bonnie’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at The Elms and
Transitions Hospice for the kindness, compassion, and wonderful care they provided to her.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her, and the memories she leaves behind will continue to be cherished by her family.
