Bonnie L. Crabtree of Decatur, IL passed peacefully on October 6, 2022 at the age of 73. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Richard Crabtree, sons Patrick Branham (Naperville, IL)and Christopher Branham (Forsyth, IL), sisters Beverly Welch (Canton, MO) and Sharon Reynolds (Chatham, IL), and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents and brother John White.

Born to John and Theda White of Chatham, IL, she graduated from Glenwood High School in 1967. Despite dedicating her time to raising her two sons she also founded Branham Lettering, an embroidery lettering business she ultimately sold in 1987. She then embarked on a 25+ year career with AT&T, retiring as a Service Manager in 2008.

Bonnie loved reading, fishing and trying her luck on the slot machines but her real passion during retirement was quilting. She proudly won several ribbons for crocheting and many ribbons for her quilts and was an active member in the Decatur Quilters Guild and the Lincoln Land Quilting Association. She was also a member of The Telephone Pioneers .

The family is respecting Bonnie’s wishes to not have a service.
