Bonnie Day, 71 of Lovington, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her home. Graveside Memorial service in her honor will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Cartwright cemetery, US-36, Tuscola, IL 61953.
Bonnie was born on March 18, 1952 in Bloomington, IL, daughter of Montel and Lydia Mahoney. She married Dennis Day on March 20, 1970 at Hindsboro Christian Church, he survives. She was a building service worker at ther U of I for many years. Bonnie was an avid fisherman, loved flower gardening, but most of all she cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Besided here loving husband of 53 years, Bonnie is also survived by three sons; Jeff Day (Jesika) of Paxton, Paul Day of Tuscola, and Patrick (Pam) Day of Oakley. One sister; Mary Kennedy of Tampa, FL, 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren.
