Brandon Keith Aguon, a beloved husband of Samantha Aguon and father of three beautiful girls, Selena Aguon, Cali Aguon, and Carlee Aguon, passed away at age 40 on January 20, 2024 in Mt.Zion, Illinois.
Brandon was born and raised in Sacramento, California.
He met his wife out running on a magazine crew in 2004. They became the best of friends and from there they were inseparable. When he found out he was having a baby, he then moved to the town Decatur. Brandon then made a home here and built a family. He was all about family and did everything that he could to make sure things were taken care of. Brandon accomplished opening his own business, he began prepaid cell phone services and then decided to get certified to repair them.
After this was established for many years he opened the very first Metro PCS in town. Once he realized the big company was not for him, he moved out of the business and became a welder at Caterpillar, of course Brandon liked to make his own money and be his own boss, he then decided to start his own Flooring business.
No matter what job it was, Brandon was always great at everything he did. He was a people person and got along with just about everyone. Brandon had a few hobbies in his life, he loved to go fishing with his brother’s and friends. Brandon also had a passion for growing and was in school for horticulture. Brandon then became a frequent cruiser on Carnival Cruise. One thing he always wanted was to show his girls the world, and cruising was a good way to do it. He loved to be on that ship and look out at the deep blue ocean. Brandon also was a huge family man and loved when we all got together for cookouts and the holidays. He was a positive person and always had jokes. To know Brandon was to love him. He will be missed by many and his memories he created with each and every person he had encountered with will always be a joyous memory to remember.

This is not a goodbye, but a see you later.
