Brian Lee Reed 49, of Neoga, passed away on November 11, 2025. He was born on September 8, 1976, in Olney, Illinois. He attended Newton High School.

Brian was a longtime truck driver & mechanic for CCI Redi-Mix, Tri Power Towing, & Waste Management. Brian had a love for listening to old county music, working on old trucks, riding motorcycles, having cookouts, camping, and could build or fix just about anything.

Brian is survived by his Wife Gennifer Reed, of Effingham, Il; 2 Sons, Bryan “Dakota” Reed, fiancé Erika & 2 granddaughters, & Dylan Reed of Noble, Il. Mother, Anita & Her husband Ric Allen of Texas. 2 Sisters, Crystal Catiller of Indiana, & Robin Freebird & her son. 2 Stepsons, Nicholas Miller, his wife Olivia & 2 step-grandsons of Effingham, Il & Dylan Miller & 1 step-grandson of Altamont, Il; and several nieces, nephews & extended family members & his beloved dog Jasmine.

Brian will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert “Bob” Reed of Olney, Illinois.

Brian previously made a request to have his ashes scattered. A Celebration of life will be held later in the Spring to honor his wishes.
