Brian R. Beard, 56, of Taylorville, Illinois, was promoted to be with his Lord and Savior at 3:35am at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was surrounded by his parents and children.

Brian is survived by his parents, Russell Beard and Diana Oliver, his children Zachary Beard, Brehia Beard and Nikki Beard, sister Lisa (Tom) Behrend, granddaughter Mahlina Jenkins, Nephews Justin (Shannon) Richards and Greg (Amy) Richards and great niece Amelia Richards (who called him “Uncle Bobby”).

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mildred (Beard) Sneddon and Elisa Beard, Isadore and Orvillia Masset.

Brian thoroughly lived his life on his own terms, but no matter what, he deeply loved his children with his whole heart.

Brian truly believed that 2026 was going to be the year of the Dallas Cowboys!
