Carl Eugene Krall of Latham, IL passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in the home of his mother-in-law
Nancy Groves, after an extended stay in Decatur Memorial Hospital. He passed surrounded by his loving family.

Carl was born February 28, 1954 in Decatur to Dale and Helen (Hiser) Krall. He graduated from Warrensburg-
Latham High School in 1972.

Carl married Rose Smith in 1976. One child was bornto that union, Aleicia Krall.

Carl married Debora Groves Rucker June 3, 1989. In 1990 Carl and Deb purchased Modern Store Fixtures
from Al Vieth, in Latham. Carl operated the business for 32 years.

Carl was strong in his faith, wanting to show and tell all about the love of his savior, Jesus Christ. It was his
desire to lead the children and grandchildren to the Lord.

Carl enjoyed traveling, his yard work, and always taking the road less traveled. Carl leaves behind: his
wife Debora, his daughter Aleicia (Shawn) Boomer. Step-children: James Michael (Ann) Rucker, Tonya
Rucker, William E. Rucker. Grandchildren: Cheyanne Hopper, Dianna Boomer, Krista Downey, Christian
Rucker, LaDonna Morstatter, Gabrielle Zilz, Harmonie Rucker, Stonie Rucker, Blaze (Spencer) Rucker,
Troy Rucker, Alexus Rhodes, Dalton Carter, and Liam Young. Great Grandchildren: Max, Annabell,
Sophia, Sora, Sincere, and Messiah. Brothers: Melvin Krall, Daniel Krall, Gary (Janice) Krall. Sister:
Jeanette (Dennis) Elam. Brothers-in-law: Brett (Connie) Groves, Daniel (Heather) Groves, and sister-in-
law Lori (Jerry) Daniels. Carl also leaves behind his “adopted” son – Shaun Morstatter, close friends and
many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dean Davis, the nursing staff at DMH 4100, and the Hospice team.
Memorial services will be Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 10:30 at Promiseland Ministries in Warrensburg,
IL.
