Charlie & his family were my ‘self-adopted’ 2nd family! I remember his Dad, Mr. Charles & Mom Mrs. Mary Lambert always welcoming me into their home out on Shorter Rd. in Lebanon. Mr. Charles always provided sage-advice to myself just like I was his own son (but never condescending or bossy). Mrs. Mary invited me to eat/ visit with them often (even at Thanksgiving). Charlie was always around! He was jolly, good-spirited and easy to be around. We’d all watch Vols Football, Titans Football or Bowl Games & sometimes Scotty, Charlie & I would attend a Vols Game together. R.I.P. my friend, gonna mess you a lot especially those COOL FB Posts.
