Cynthia “Cindy” Williams, 60, of Lincoln, IL, passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on Friday January 20th 2023 after an extensive battle with cancer.

She was born in Chicago, IL on March 19th 1962 to Bill and Myrtle (Frost) Kirk. She married Richard Williams on September 18th 1980 at the Logan County Courthouse in Lincoln, IL.

She worked as a job coach for Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois for 29 years. She loved helping others in both her professional and personal life. After retiring, she enjoyed visiting her daughter in California and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.

Cindy is survived by her husband Rick Williams, daughter Alexandra (Patrick) Windsor, sister Barb Grass, brother Dean (Jason) Kirk, aunt Bonita (Randy) McManus, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Randy Kirk and Billy (Mariann) Kirk, her sister Ruby Kirk, and her uncle Ernest (Linda) Frost.

Cindy believed in always treating everyone with kindness. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, niece, aunt, and friend.

A private Celebration of Life will be organized by her daughter and held on her birthday weekend in March.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association in her honor.
