In Loving Memory of Dale and Delores “Ann” Dalluge
Together in Life, Together in Rest

Dale Dalluge, 65, and his beloved wife Delores “Ann” Dalluge, 63, passed away peacefully together in their family home in Warrensburg, Illinois, on July 13, 2025, alongside their loyal German Shorthair companion, Copper. Their passing marks the end of a 47-year marriage rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

Dale was born on October 11, 1959, to Dean and Betty Dalluge. Ann was born on December 6, 1961, to Ralph and Lucy Davis. They were married on December 11, 1977, and spent 47 cherished years building a life centered around family, community, and faith in their Warrensburg home.

They are survived by their son, Dustin Dalluge, and daughter-in-law Mindy Vest Dalluge of Mt. Zion, Illinois, as well as four deeply loved grandchildren: Dalton (23), Carmendy (19), Gauge (16), and Miley (12).

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Betty Dalluge, as well as his sister Karen Fritz and brother David Dalluge. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lucy Davis, and her siblings Terry Davis, Lucy, and Debby.

Dale was an Eagle Scout and an accomplished violinist, known for his quiet strength and love of the outdoors. He found great joy in hunting and fishing, especially with his son, Dustin. Ann was a gifted artist and compassionate soul whose kindness and love radiated through her cooking, baking, and care for others.

Together, Dale and Ann were pillars of their community—offering warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness to everyone they met. They shared an unbreakable bond, rarely seen apart, and found their greatest joy in spending time with their grandchildren, filling their lives with laughter, stories, and love.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 9th. Details and location will be shared on Facebook once finalized.

As their family holds onto their memory, one cherished quote will forever echo in their hearts:
“See ya in a short. Love ya. Later.”

Celebrate Dale's life with a short message, photo or video!

To Dustin & family: I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your sweet parents. I know that there just aren’t any words. We live right across the street, and they were more than just neighbors to us—they were a true blessing on our street, and their presence brought warmth, kindness, and a sense of community that’s hard to put into words. Whether it was a friendly wave from the porch, or thoughtful conversation, your parents embodied the kind of goodness that stays with you. They were the kind of people who made you feel at home just by being near, and their absence is deeply felt. Life here does not feel right at all anymore. I miss hearing your dad blast his tunes from the porch. I miss talking and laughing with your mom. I miss seeing Dale mow the yard three times a week and I miss seeing Ann tend to her pretty flowers. They were so proud of their home and they made it so beautiful. We just miss them so much. I know it still does not feel real. My children, especially our little son, ask about Dale and Ann everyday. The imprint they left behind will last forever. Please know that our hearts are with you. We are praying for you all. I pray that you can somehow find peace and comfort during this awful time. Their memory will always remain a cherished part of our lives, and we are so incredibly grateful to have known them. We will never, ever forget them. We will keep their memory alive every single day. With love and sympathy, Brent, Josie, Harmony, Artie, and Luna Campbell

Dustin & Mindy &Family, it was a pleasure to know your Dad, he was a great man that would help with anything. We worked together helping you boys in Scouts to become Eagle Scouts, watching you and Chadd working together reach that goal and you did it in record time. Your Dad was active in all you did. We are so very sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your family . We wanted to come to the Celebration of Life, but due to prior commitments we are not able to attend., just know we will be thinking of you and your family. Love Bob & Joyce Mathias
