So sorry for your loss. Dana will be deeply missed

I met Dana when I was a teenager working at a gas station. When he'd come in to get his coffee, he made sure to spend some time chatting and joking around. He had a way of bringing a light-heartedness (and silliness) into the space that he entered. He also had a way of making people feel seen and cared about.....even a wayward teenager. When I grew up and got married, I attended the same church as Dana and Rhonda. Some things never change. Dana had not! His ornery grin could still turn your day around for the better. When my oldest daughter was about 12, Dana's sweet bride, Rhonda, took my daughter under her wing and started spending time with her. The time they invested in loving on her is priceless. Dana and Rhonda have loved my daughter like their own grandchild and words can mot express what that has meant to her or our family. What a treasure! The world around us is certainly more dim without Dana's shine. He will be remembered always with love. He was one of the greats!
