Deane Renee Krekel entered Heavens gates on August 4th, 2025 at 11:15 am. She was born June 27th 1954, the youngest daughter of Dean Quick and Doris Odom.

Renee married the love of her life Rick Krekel in 1983, and they had two beautiful children Chad and Kayla. They opened Krekels north together in 1987. Prior to opening Krekel’s, she was a LPN at different nursing homes and also an administrator at Friendship Hill retirement home.

Renee had 4 beautiful grandchildren Jillian, Gavin, Gracie, and Sammi Jo. They were her biggest blessings in this life. If she wasn’t at a dance recital or a basketball game, she was most likely with her ride or die best friend Tina. Renee had so many friends and to know her was to love her. She smiled through her pain every single day, but knew her Jesus would take care of her.

Renee is survived by her son Chad, daughter Kayla and spouse Aaron, and her 4 wonderful grandchildren. Renee was preceded in death by her parents, older sister Michelle, and her beloved Rick.

The family of Renee Krekel would like to give a sincere thank you to the radiology staff at St. Marys Hospital they were like family to her the last 3 years. Per Renee’s request, she will have a private service with her family at a later date.
