Dolores Kay Campbell (Parrotte)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolores Kay Campbell (Parrotte), a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Dolores, 76, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Born in New York on February 6, 1948, Dolores moved to St. Louis after meeting the love of her life, Garry. Together, they built a life filled with love and happiness. Dolores was the devoted mother of Tracey, Jeffery, and Jamie, and is deeply missed by her granddaughter Ashley, with whom she shared a close bond. She is also survived by six other grandchildren: Jacob, Kaylee, Nathan, Ava, Kaitlyn, and Taylor; and five great-grandchildren: Trevor, Dylan, Ashtin, Isaiah, and Noah. Dolores will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Val and son Jeff.

Throughout her life, Dolores worked as a deli worker and in medical equipment manufacturing at Essex. She was known for her warmth and infectious spirit, and there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family, often with a cold beer in hand. Her family was her world, and she will be forever remembered for the joy and love she brought to their lives.

Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband Garry, her parents, and her mother-in-law Marie. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Tracey, son Jamie, and will be dearly missed by her surviving siblings, brother Charlie of Baltimore, Maryland and Donna of Elmira New York.

Dolores’ passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
