Dorothy “Dotty” Ann Hilliard, formerly of Tulsa, OK, passed away February 15th in Decatur, IL. Dorothy was born October 24th, 1959 in Beloit, KS to Francis Lorene Huddleston “Goff” and Leonard Goff. Surviving is her husband James Edward Hilliard Jr of Decatur, sister Donna Goff of Decatur, son Timmy Dalrymple of Oklahoma, daughter Amanda Hilliard of Oklahoma, son James Hilliard III of Decatur, daughter Jennifer Hilliard of Abilene, Texas, son Daniel Hilliard of Decatur IL, and her four grandchildren. Dorothy was a graduate of Jewell High School and Indian River Community College in 2015. She worked at the Marina Animal Clinic in Tulsa, OK as a business manager until she retired in 2004. Dotty was also a member of the Sierra club and the ASPCA. She loved crafting, board games, sightseeing, coing collecting, gardening, flower arranging, listening to music, pets, landscaping, and walks on the beach. . Dotty sadly passed away at home after a brief illness at the age of 63. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was always there when we needed her. She fostered 17 children and adopted many pets. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Decatur, IL.
