Eric will always remain a great friend. He was willing to help at a time in life when I needed him most. A reserved individual always willing to listen and laugh. I never heard him speak out against anyone unless it was in joking manner and the person was there to hear it. He encouraged my efforts to change my path in life. I worked many days aside him and partied many nights with him. Eric was an individual that I could always count on to share some time with when I would travel back home to visit friends. It was great to laugh with him over old times, even if some of the laughs were over foolish choices we both made. I only missed visiting with him once in the 27 years of return visits, last year, but he was in his own battle. I’m glad he finally won. I’m going to miss those times for now, but we’ll meet up again, when the time is right.
