Gary Allen Lockhart, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, November 16,2023 at 9:05 pm at his home

He was born April 19,1955 in Springfield Illinois, the son of the late Alfred and Verna Lockhart.

Gary served in the United States Navy from 1972-1974. He worked as a subcontractor for Cummins, Calhouns, Griffiths siding and EL Pruitt for 45+ years. He is a member of the Harley Owners Group and loved anything Harley and Old Chevy. He was also a VIP and member and manager at Jackson’s Handlebar. He loved camping with his wife more than anything.

He is survived by his children, Jessica of Florida, Justin of Springfield, Illinois and daughter Brittany from Springfield, Illinois. Sisters, Jacki (husband Russell) Barger and Patti Lockhart. 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and best bud Mike Baldock.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Verna Lockhart and his wife Lori Lockhart.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of life in the near future and a memorial run in the summer.
