The family of Glenda Mae Yeaman would like to announce her passing on March 5th, 2024. Glenda leaves behind her husband, Jimmie Yeaman of Tovey, IL along with her sons Christopher, Conner, and Mitchell. She also leaves behind her daughter Jennifer DaQuano (Yeaman), son in law Christopher DaQuano, and granddaughter Victoria DaQuano of Rock Hill, SC.
Glenda had a deep impact on so many lives above and beyond those in her immediate family. She was a wife, biological mother, foster mother, adoptive mother, grandmother, housemaker, and working professional. She kept a beautifully eclectic home filled with loving memories and warm, delicious food. Her favorite thing to do was to share a smile, we will forever cherish her smile. We will miss her bright floral shirts, her chili that no one else can seem to figure out how to replicate and drinking iced tea outside in the warm evening summer breeze. We will miss her caring heart for children in need, who she always embraced with tight hugs and a shoulder to lean on. We will miss early morning Saturday yard selling (Tori has the butterfly plaque you hid from that yard sale find), followed by pecan pancakes from Cracker Barrel. We will miss blind rummy at the kitchen table. We will miss her eye for sparkling windowsill ornaments that would reflect rainbows all over the house. She enthusiastically would host the best holiday get-togethers, with as much themed décor as she could find. We will always remember the meticulously decorated, rotating Christmas tree that brought so many people joy. The children would lay under it while it spun, and we would enjoy each other’s company in the chilly, quiet winters. We will miss her giddy laugh when dad surprised her with something special. We will miss your connection to those who passed before you, and your loving stories of them. We will miss you and are so grateful for all the memories we will be able to pass on down generations. Goodnight sweet wife. Goodnight sweet momma. Goodnight sweet grandma. We love you so much, you will forever be in our hearts.
Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Taylorville, IL on April 6th, 2024 at 10:00 AM, Located at 930 Haner Ave.
