Hazel Irene Blissett, 90, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Monday January 1st, 2024 at Regency Care.
She was born on December 22, 1933, in Springfield, to Sam and Lula (Clauser) Hackwith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Vicky L Blissett, 2 sons, Donald L Blissett,JR, Kevin M Blissett a grandson Christopher M Blissett, 4 sisters, Barbara Mulligan, Ida Rigney, Betty Blissett and Dorothy Rigney-Hackwith.

She is survived by a son, Gerald (Mary) Blissett of Waynesville, 2 daughters, Kristina Blissett and Karen Blissett both of Springfield, 2 daughter-n-laws, Kathy Blissett-Kodrich and Diane Blissett both of Springfield, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was employed as a CNA through Memorial Hospital until her time of retirement.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for her on Saturday March 2nd from 1-4 at the Anchor Boat Club in Springfield, IL.

Central Cremation Center in Forsyth, Illinois is handling arrangments.
