James Woods Sr, 79, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away on March 18th, 2026. Born on January 5th, 1947 in Danville, Kentucky, he was the son of John and Anna Woods. He served in the Army for two years and was known for his love of Fishing, Cardinals Baseball, Wii Sports, Nascar and working with his hands.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cheryl Woods; his children, Angela Hedges, James Woods Jr; and his beloved grandchildren, Amanda Hedges, Joseph Woods.
