I am so very sorry for your loss and my prayers and condolences. He was a terrific man. He drove for us at Friendly Honda and he will be missed.

Cherrie and family: I was so sad to hear about Jerry. He was such a great guy and a great basketball player-—all of us cheerleaders loved his stories and tried to sit by him on the bus traveling to games. We definitely knew you were the love of his life and I’m so glad you were lucky enough to spend 53 years together and raise your beautiful family!! Sending you lots of hugs and love ❤️

Dear Cherrie and family, So sorry to hear about Jerry. We played basketball together in high school and were great friends. I can still remernber the last day he and I played one on one together during one of his trips home from college. He pushed me around like a little girl. May the Lord comfort you all during this very difficult season of grief and loss. I, personally, miss him already. With love and prayer, Bruce Vyverberg Sevierville, TN

Jerry was a great man to be around! I am glad and proud that I knew him and his family. His kids and I grew up together and went to school. FLY FREE JERRY! Hugs to his family.
