Jo Ann Wheeler, 85 of Shelbyville passed at 3:58am Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her residence.

Burial services will be held at a later date at Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta, Illinois.

Ms. Wheeler was born January 27, 1937 to Hiram and Ruby Summers of Nixon Township in DeWitt county, Illinois.  Jo Ann married Richard Wheeler on June 12,1970.  Jo Ann worked at Clinton Power Plan for Baldwin and Assoc, and later owned Anglers Bait Shop outside of Coon Creek Campground in Shelbyville.  Jo Ann was an Avid NASCAR fan.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Waller and wife Diane of Tiskilwa, Rory Waller and wife Jill of Decatur; Daughter, Rena Waller and partner Scott Tapscott of Shelbyville.  5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Ronald Waller, Sister Darlene Scribner, and her parents.
