It is with deep sadness that the family of Jody M Rinderer of Granite City, Illinois announces his passing on September 19, 2025, at the age of 47.

He was born to Janet Hathorne and Anton (Tony) Rinderer on August 26, 1978, in Decatur, Illinois.

Jody will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Jennifer Barger, Jill Clem, Jennifer Jinkson and Ben Rinderer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by many other relatives and friends.

He joins his parents, grandparents and other beloved relatives who proceeded him in death.

Jody was employed by Elite Detail in Troy, Illinois. He had a passion for horticulture, and the beauty it brought to this world. He enjoyed the outdoors and anything to do with nature. He loved working with his hands, which were rarely steady. He would jump at the opportunity to build or repair anything. His love for animals was HUGE, especially dogs.

An intimate remembrance for close family and friends will be planned for a later date.
